Our Team:

Bettina Chen

Bettina graduated from the California Institute of Technology back in 2010 with a BS in electrical engineering. She is currently a second year graduate student in electrical engineering at Stanford and plans to graduate in March with her MS. She loves volunteering and working with kids and is looking forward to getting kids as excited about engineering as she is! Outside of school, Bettina spends the bulk of her time playing ultimate frisbee.

 

 

 

Alice Brooks

Alice grew up in the Boston area and graduated from MIT in 2010 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. This is her second year as a Masters student at Stanford, focusing on Mechanical Engineering Design. While a student at Stanford, she spent six months working at hardware start up Nest. Alice loves making anything from light fixtures to stuffed animals or strawberry shortcake in her spare time.

 

 

 

Daniela Buchman

Daniela grew up in California and graduated from Brown University in 2010 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She is currently a second year Masters student at Stanford in the Mechanical Engineering department. During her undergrad she coached a high school robotics team for three years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in the machine shop.

 

Miguel Reyes

Miguel is currently a first year Master’s student in Stanford’s Management Science and Engineering (MS&E) Department. In 2010, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University. Before coming to Stanford, he worked at Intel Corporation for about 2 years with a business operations group in charge of the company’s capital Supply Chain. As a Project Manager, Miguel was responsible for creating supplier quality systems that improved supplier performance, equipment reliability, and availability. Outside of work and school, Miguel enjoys golf, soccer, and all-you-can-eat sushi with his friends.
